Opening Weekend
Opening weekend is one of the most exciting times of the year for newer and older hunters in Wisconsin. I had gone out with my dad on Saturday at about 5 in the morning, as we were packing up two doe had come out of the brush and fallen trees. They were running as if something had scared them so I pulled up my semi automatic .308 and shot, I missed the first shot. I followed the deer with the muzzle of my gun and shot again and hit a tree. After that my dad and I didnt see anything all weekend.

Haha, this is funny. Practice might help a little? :p I hunted all weekend. I sat in a tree for ten hours straight, I ended up getting a little eight pointer right before the end of season. Definitely thought i deserved that deer after ten hours in a stand.
ReplyDeleteWell that is a bummer. As for myself I was out all weekend and did not see a thing. The only animal I saw was one squire the whole time.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Hannah maybe you should practice some more at moving targets Mikey. I will expect more from you next time.
